Off-The Shoulder Love

Monday, 14 May 2018

Oh, hello there lovely people! Today I thought I'd chit chat about this glorious little off the shoulder top with, I feel like I've neglected my little blog lately but fear not, I'm back! Perhaps you can blame the endless hospital trips and constant tests for the overdue chatter.

So let's talk about the off the shoulder top. I'm almost always spotted sporting an off-the shoulder number during spring-summer, and this bad boy was no exception. Having done a colossal clear out (a.k.a an overflowing wardrobe that was begging for some space) - I'd picked up a lime coloured crop and an off-the shoulder dress from ASOS before spotting this just as I was about to check out.

Naturally, with having nothing left in my wardrobe - myself and my empty closet both agreed that I had to have it. Not only is it the perfect length, with puffy sleeves and rolled over shoulders but it's the most perfect light, summery fabric and looks gorgeous with pretty much everything

Anyway - I don't need to bore you with the specifics of the material and how much I bloody well love it (I think you already know) - but I'm almost certain it's set the tone for the rest of my spring and summer wardrobe: lots and lots of off-the shoulder things, plenty of buttons and feminine details.

Having worn it over the weekend to a cute market just around the corner from home, it made for the perfect choice for exploring in the sunshine. Paired with a ripped denim skirt, my converse trainers and a suede saddle bag - you can expect to see this 'I just threw this on' combo around here on lazy days and on my upcoming getaway to Paris. Just let me know if you spot any other cute little off-the shoulder tops so I can finally pop this one in the wash (I'm that obsessed).
