January Favourites

Sunday, 3 February 2019

So January is finally over, it really felt like an eternity and although Christmas was not that long ago I feel like we are halfway through the year already! Just like every other month, January presented new favourites and I am going to share them with you for the first time. I have never done a monthly favourites post before so I hope you enjoy!

Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Rose & Cedar-wood Limited Edition
I received this cleanser back in December as a Christmas gift from my lovely mum. I remembered spotting the limited edition cleanser in Boots and getting a little excited as I am obsessed with all things rose-scented. Thankfully it does live up to my expectations and smells absolutely beautiful. Of course it would, Liz Earle never fails. I'm a little gutted it is limited edition and won't be able to purchase the same scent again but I just throughly enjoy the product more.
The Body Shop Peppermint Candy Cane Hand Cream
Ok I know this is another limited edition product but it definitely deserves a place in my January favourites because I can't put the stuff down. I really can't describe how lovely it smells on your skin. I am forever hoping The Body Shop brings out this festive scent in a full size hand cream this year.
Elizabeth Arden Blush Compact (From The Sparkle On Holiday Collection)
I am not exaggerating when I say this is the best blush compact I have ever used. I don't know if it's because of the soft texture or the pink tones that flatter my pale skin perfectly, but I am obsessed. Also, the gorgeous bronze highlight is super pretty layered with the blush.
By Terry Ombre Blackstar In Frozen Quartz
Here's an oldie but a very beautiful goldie. I'll be honest, I have become super lazy when it comes to eyeshadow, Ombre Blackstar makes me appear like I have put actual effort in. It's a big time-saver.
Glossier Lidstar In Cub
Here is another beautiful quick and easy cream eyeshadow stick. Although this is a lot less pigmented and gives you a completely different look it is just as gorgeous. It takes a little more blending depending on how much product you want to use but I would highly recommend to everyone.
Nars Velvet Lip Glide In Bound
I fall in love with this liquid lipstick around the same time every year, when the weather becomes frosty and I just want a darker colour on my lips. The lipstick has no drying whatsoever and feels light and comfortable on your lips. It also happens to be the most lovely soft rose pink shade.
Now, onto February, it may only be the 3rd but I am loving so much already!
