4 Skincare Products For Winter Skin

Tuesday, 25 February 2020

Recently, I'm probably the most informed I've ever been about my skincare, what my skin craves and what my skin needs. Looking in the mirror and seeing what my skin needs whether that be dehydration or a true lack of slumber. I thought I'd share with you the products I've been turning to again and again this winter, knowing I can count on them to restore the 'pep' in my skin.

My go-to second cleanse and evening option is Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish. It's the perfect creamy cleanser for first thing in the morning and a second cleanse at night - that has the most heavenly spa like scent. It doesn't strip and leaves my skin feeling clean ready to hit the pillow.

When my skin is a little irritated due to the winter weather I like to use the soothing and refreshing Elemis Soothing Apricot Toner. Being pretty obsessed with all face mists - this toner is a bit of a dark horse and is a complete essential for a hydrating glow. I spritz after my cleanse and it really helps soothe redness and invigorate dull skin.

Depending on the kind of skin day I'm having, I often turn to the Liz Earle Balancing Gel Mask   - this mask brings back balance to other wise freaked out skin. I feel like it goes without saying that this mask is the perfect harmoniser for stress spots, dehydration and redness. With it's gel like texture and heavenly ingredients, my skin has never felt so soft or smelt so good come to think of it.

My dreamy night time facial oil is the Beauty Pie Super Healthy Skin Amazing Sleep Oil. I've always been pretty intimidated by facial oils, thankfully, this one from Beauty Pie seemed to be a really light and breathable introduction. It's a super hydrating, nourishing oil that is perfect for real plumping action whilst you nod off.

  1. Liz Earle is one of my go to skin products, such fantastic skincare!! I’ve had facials involving Elemis products but never tried them for myself at home. Great post!
