Daily Makeup Favourites

Considering the current state of the globe, it seems meaningless to talk about beauty products. Whilst painting our faces won't help the current crisis, it is important to find joy in the little things. So, instead of enamouring myself in the news I'm going to talk about the products I use daily that cheer up me and my face. I, for one, fully support anything that makes you feel more normal right now.

I haven't been wearing makeup whilst social distancing but when I do I go straight for this Too Faced Natural Face Palette. I find this palette super practical - even if I haven't gone outside - and lately, it is my favourite part of my at home makeup routine. I gently tap 'Pink Wink' on the apple of my cheeks and let the ultra creamy blush work it's magic, leaving my face with a healthy glow. It's become a part of my routine I look forward to - and who wouldn't want that?

I've used the Estee Lauder Concealer every time I put makeup on - It genuinely is amazing. The creamy, dewy formula, the refreshing, gel-like eye reviver and the way it makes my under eyes light up is heavenly. It's the dreamiest concealer I never knew I needed.

The Nudestix Lip and Cheek Pencil in Mystic is my holy grail all in one product at the moment. It's pigmented, moisturising and leaves my lips with the perfect nude-pink colour. It also can be used on the cheeks to match the lips, giving me a sense of 'put togetherness' even if I'm not leaving the house.

When it comes to mascara, my eyelashes need all the help they can get. So when Beauty Pie launched a lash primer I knew I had to try it ASAP. I swipe it on, then add a layer of Beauty Pie Uber Volume Boost Mascara and I'm left with beautifully fluttery eyelashes that last all day. Needless to say - I'm hooked.

I can't write this without mentioning Urban Decay Afterglow Highlighter and Larzity Cosmetics Dew Pot, they are the perfect companions to a dewy, fresh face and I'm partial to dabbing them wherever I want a little extra 'glow' and I think I need all the glow I can get right now.
